Born and raised in New York City, Ms. Silverman relocated to the Brevard County area while in high school. Ms. Silverman attended the University of Florida pursuing a career in the fine arts only to discover her passion for the Law. Transferring to UCF, she earned a BA in legal studies while working as a paralegal at a local Brevard County law firm. After UCF Ms. Silverman attended law school at David A. Clarke School of Law at the University of the District of Columbia where she graduated with Honors and received the Deans Cup for her service to the Law School and community. While in law school Ms. Silverman spent 2 ½ years working as a legal fellow with the Anti-Defamation League. After graduation Ms. Silverman returned to Brevard County and became a member of the Florida Bar. She has practiced family law since 2005. Ms. Silverman has been an Adjunct Professor at Eastern Florida State College in their paralegal studies program, teaching Civil Procedures, Family Law and Law Office Procedures. An experienced trial attorney, Ms. Silverman’s focus is on helping her clients resolve their cases by taking a realistic perspective. When settlement is not possible, Ms. Silverman will aggressively and competently represent her clients in court.
